CARPEL TUNNEL RELEASE

Carpal tunnel decompression, commonly known as carpal tunnel release (CTR), is a type of nerve decompression in which the transverse carpal ligament is split. This surgical procedure is advised for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) when there is continuous numbness, atrophy, or muscular weakness, and when night splinting is no longer effective in controlling sporadic carpal tunnel pain symptoms.
