The process of removing the gall bladder surgically is known as cholecystectomy. This process is usually done when there are some symptoms of stones in the gall bladder and other conditions of the fall bladder.

REQUIRED TEST

Before the procedure starts, there are some tests required: –

1. CT scan.
2. Magnetic resonance imaging.
3. (HIDA) hepatobiliary iminodiacetic acid scan.
4. URG of the abdominal.

TIME DURATION

The duration of this process is nearly 30 to 60 minutes. And the hospital stay for the patient is 2–6 days.

SUCCESS RATE

The success rate of the cholecystectomy procedure is 96–98%, and that is very high.
