HAIR TRANSPLANT

Hair transplant is also known as hair reclamation. It is a surgery that repairs hair in a diminishing zone of the scalp by taking the grafted hair from the region that still has hair intact in place. The hair-bearing region is the zone where hair unites. Donor region: it’s typically the sides and back of the head. Since 1950, hair transplantation has been a medical procedure.

TYPES

  • DHI: In this process, the hair follicles in the recipient area are directly harvested 1 by 1 to fulfill balding and thinning sides.
  • PRP: It is the safest non-surgical procedure; it’s completely natural.
  • Scalp micropigmentation: It is commonly referred to as hairline tattooing and is one of the promising non-surgical options for hair transplantation.
  • Mesotherapy: It is a non-surgical treatment (cosmetic). The aim of this process is to replenish hair loss in both men and women.

Care After Procedure

  • Normal and appropriate cleansing of the scalp.
  • Always keep the donor and recipient regions moist.
  • Don’t scratch in the donor area.
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Try to avoid strenuous activities like weightlifting, cycling, running, etc.
  • Don’t swim in chlorinated water.
  • Try to use hair care products.

The success rate of hair transplantation is very high in India, nearly 98%.
