HEART TRANSPLANT

Heart transplant is a procedure in which the failing Or diseased heart is replaced with a healthier, donor heart. This process is typically saved for those patients who have attempted different medical procedure or medicines. However their conditions haven’t adequate properly.

Heart transplant is performed when different medications for heart issues haven’t worked and it leads to heart failure.

TREATMENT

When the donor heart is available. Surgeons removes the heart from the donors body (surgically ). The heart is stored in a special solution (cooled), and the transplant surgery is performed earliest. The patient is placed on a heart-lung machine during the surgery. This machine allows the body to receive (vital oxygen and nutrients) from blood. Heart transplant surgery is a complex procedure that last from four to ten hours.
