SURROGACY

A growing number of people are choosing surrogacy as a family-building solution because it provides hope to those who are unable to conceive naturally. Generally there are 2 types of surrogacy. First is gestational surrogacy and the second one is traditional surrogacy. Surrogate mother is still somewhat controversial. It is a one more option for parents having baby (through new reproductive technology).

REASONS

A women decide to use a surrogate option for several reasons:-
  • She may have hysterectomy (her uterus is removed).
  • Severe heart disease (having a condition where pregnancy is impossible).
  • She may have uterus related problems.

SUCCESS RATE

Most of the people try this procedure for the betterment of their families. The success rate of surrogacy is constantly increasing, reaching 90%. Going by this procedure, patients (mothers) are able to bring their babies home within 14–18 months.
